Thanks to everyone for sharing their feelings on the wedding invitation. Even my 19 year-old took one look at it and said "ouch". And I swear I didn't say anything to her before she saw it!

I didn't get to read that particular post 'till now.
Makes me think, if your husband just laugh it off (and seems like a no biggie for him), does it mean it was also the groom who wrote it? I'd be guessing a bride would would be very particular.
But you're right. If the person wrote it didn't know the name, atleast the Mr. & Mrs. .. . would have been more polite.
I only wish that you enjoyed the wedding. I hope :-)
