I spent the majority of the day packing away my winter-themed decorations, as I just know Spring is going to arrive any day.....even if it is only 20 degrees today!
Here are some of the snowflakes I've made using a Bead & Button pattern. I had made literally dozens of them back in 2004 for Operation SOS, which was a letter writing, care package sending initiative to Support Our Soliders fighting the Iraq War. My daughter's teacher got the program off the ground, and I'll tell you it was one of the best things I've been involved with. The way the children and the soldiers became pen pals and how appreciative they were of the small gifts they received really brought the experience home. Soldiers Rock! and don't ever let them forget how much we appreciate their sacrifices.

Well Lynn, since they are already packed you can send those snowflaker right on over to my house! You know I do my whole tree in snowflakes. GORGEOUS! Did you have to stiffen them in some way to get them to lay so nicely? How big are they? I will have to look that pattern up. It would be an inexpensive way to fill up my tree. Love them.
These are so pretty... love the enlarged view of the photos with all the detail. I was wondering (like Tracey if they are stiffened. They are really nice.

Just a little FYI - yes they are stiffened with floorwax. I dipped them into the wax, let the excess drip off and then I laid them out on waxed paper til they dried. These are actually the first 3 I made, and some have way too much wax which then formed like a crust and really ruined the effect. Also the pink beads actually ran when I applied the wax. I bet these is probably a better way to stiffen these. If anybody has any suggestions, please let us know.
