Pin Cushion!

After complaining about how much I didn't like this project, I have made peace with it and love it!

I was intrigued with the sawdust filling, and was amazed at how even it fills the cushion. I wish I would have thought to ask to buy some extra. I wish you could feel how solid and weighted it is. I also like that the filling doesn't cause it to 'poof' up to much, and the back is nice and flat so it doesn't rock.

The loops are interconnected and gradually get longer toward the middle. We had the option of adding loops along the sides, but I thought that would be a little too much.

And here it is at work on my table. See those cute little pins? They are from Pinks & Needles over on Etsy. Now that I have a big pincushion, I will be heading on over there to get some more!
