Wonder of All Wonders!

Just for the heck of it, I thought I would try getting on to blogger tonight.....really?  truly?  its here???!!!  I'm back on blogger!  I can check in with all my beading friends again??  Pinch me!  I must be dreaming.......

Speaking of Dreaming, I would walk by this cute little cape cod style house in my neighborhood and think to myself "I could so see myself living there."  And then one day a For Sale sign appeared on the lawn.  NO WAY!  I called my realtor immediately and next thing I knew the For Sale sign changed to a SOLD sign :)

I closed a month ago and am still in awe that this is my house.  MY house.  ME.  MINE.  In a way sad.  I never expected to be single, but my marriage had deteriorated beyond repair and it was time to start fresh.

Welcome my friends, let me show you around.  Since moving in, I've done a little gardening.  Luckily there were some established plants and shrubs, so I just added a few things.

 The Iris are spectacular !

My Entrance/Yoga Hall Before and After:

My Bead Studio Before:
YES I have a BEAD STUDIO now!
A whole room--not a chair and a tv table anymore, but a whole room!!

and After:

Here's Rainy asleep in the upstairs hall.
I guess I'll end this post now, before I put everyone to sleep!

Beading to come soon !  (I promise)

Good Morning!!
I wondered what happened to you. I see lots has been going on. I hope you are adjusting well to your new lifestyle and have peace and calm. I wondered how your daughter is doing.

Your home looks cozy. I'm glad you have a "room". I got mine back when the kids moved out and my inner peace has returned. I had no idea that my "space" was so important to me.
xx, Carol

I've been thinking of you a lot lately since all the graduation activities are happening around Jack's school...did your daughter graduate this year?

It seems like you have had a lot of changes in the past few months. I've missed you and am delighted with your new house and that you've shared us pictures! I can now imagine you in situ beading in your new room and doing yoga in your new space.

Here's to settling and to peace and to starting anew.

Love to you Lynn. Susan

First...so so so sorry about your marriage. That is such tough stuff.

Your new house. is soo soo wonderful!! I just love it! I'm glad you have such a beautiful place to make a new beginning. IT just looks so comfy and artsy, and the little kitty reminds me of my juliet kitty...isn't it amazing how peaceful they look and feel when they sleep like that. Not a care in the world. It is one of the many reasons I love to share my home with kitties. They have such great energy. They could be chased by a dog and hair standing straight up, and 5 minutes later be laid out stress free without a care in the world. They don't hold onto any of it. We can learn a lot from them.

Welcome back so sorry to hear you were down buy like Jean says there's beading to be done.I am in a slump myself i can't seem to get my beading area straightened out to be beading.Plus my son,his wife and my Grand-daughter will be staying with us for a month as the house they rented has mold growing in the office and the electric is acting up so they have to have a place to stay. We will give them 1 month to get there funds together then they have to find a place. But anyway i Love your new house and Good luck to you.
