Pretty as a Picture
Today's is Meghan's 17th birthday. Sigh.
I thought this piece would be appropriate to pick for today simply because of that adorable little one in the hands of her(his?) proud mom.
I'm thinking there is some artistic license going on with this creature.
Looks like a squirrel? But with a beak? Hmmm.
But really, isn't this babe the cutest little thing?
I can almost hear her (him) giggling.
Nothing beats the sound of baby laughter.
(I love that they are posing in front of a painted background of the Falls!)

Another lovely piece! At first I thought the "creature" was a beaver, then realized that what I thought was a tail was a left. I think you are right--it is a squirrel-maybe with a nut in his mouth?
I almost thought the 'animal' had something in its mouth! I just love seeing these pieces..and you are right..the picture is wonderful but the baby makes the picture!
